At the age of seventeen, David Palmer left Australia to pursue his dream of becoming a professional squash player. His hard work and perseverance have led him to three British Open Titles, one World Open title, two World Team Titles, 16 PSA Tour Titles and a number one World Ranking. David’s motto ‘Dreams come true only if you have the courage to chase them’ is the theme throughout The Making of a World Champion.
“We show my favourite training exercises, the ones that allow me to win the matches. And we make it very visible: after each session of exercises we show you how I win an important point in a match with exactly that shot we just practised,” says David Palmer.
Based in Belgium, David trains under the guidance of his astute coach, fellow-Australian Shaun Moxham, whom he has been working with for seven years now and who is not just a coach, a mentor and a manager, but also a very close friend. Together, they made this Squash DVD to inspire the game of all squash players - young and old, amateur, club-level and professional.
